Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum

The Wiltshire Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum (CFVSF) works with charities and voluntary groups in the Wiltshire area that work with children, young people and their families. The CFVSF works to provide a Forum where organisations working in the sector can come together. Bi-monthly meetings are held where members exchange information, share news, hear from topical speakers and champion the voluntary sector. In addition the Forum works as the local voice for the sector working with the local authority providing a “voice in and out” to/from the local authority. The CFVSF holds seats on 16 Wiltshire Council subgroups and commissioning groups representing the voluntary sector and influencing policy, planning and services. The CFVSF works to provide coordinated information to the organisations working, often alone, in Wiltshire ensuring they are aware of local and regional issues.

If you work for a voluntary organisation working with children and families in Wiltshire, why not get involved? You will hear of local events, training, funding, news and become part of a wider network of organisations all helping to improve the lives of children and families in Wiltshire.
