Accessing help for children & young people with emotional & behavioural problems
[Scroll to the bottom for information about referral.]Emergencies
In an emergency, where a child or young person has made a suicide attempt or is thought to have a mental disorder and is presenting a serious risk of harm to themselves or to others, an urgent referral should be made using the emergency arrangements for your area. What mental health problem are you concerned about?
You can access an index of mental health concerns. From the index, professionals can go to information about 'what works' in relation to a range of problem areas. This may help you to decide what to do next.NOTE: The 'what works' pages are password protected and only accessible to authorised members of the Partnership.
Helpful information particularly for parents and young people is available on the following site: www.youngminds.org.uk.
