General Description : The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) assess and treat young people from 0 - 17 where there are emotional, behavioural and relationship problems AND mental health issues or a psychiatric disorder present. Therapies may include individual psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacotherapy and family therapy. Interventions range from brief contacts to therapy over a long period of time and include direct work with children and with families; and group work with children and parents.Access and Availability : The service is provided at a number of locations across Wiltshire. Access via Senior Practitioner (Children & Young People’s Mental Health).
