Integrated Working (CAF) training Courses Who are they for?
Category 1 - E-learning This course is suitable for anyone who comes into contact with children, young people and their families during the course of their work and MUST be completed before any application for course categories 2 or 3 can be accepted. (Note this course is NOT necessary for managers wishing to complete the category 4 course.) On receipt of your application you will be registered and sent an e-mail detailing your username and password. Please note that registration can take up to 5 working days.
Category 2 Those working in services for children and young people whose role may be likely at some points to involve contact with children and young people. Although they may not be involved in completing assessments or acting as lead professional they need to have an awareness of CAF and wider integrated working processes.
Category 3 Staff whose role is primarily providing a direct/frontline service to children and young people, possibly within a multi-disciplinary team or setting. This includes staff working with children and young people with additional needs and those with support roles working directly with children and young people. These practitioners are involved in integrated working process on a regular basis.
