Child Protection Online Training (WSCB Multi-Agency Training Programme)You need to register an account directly with Virtual College to access our online courses.
To register with Virtual College, access your existing account and continue your training or apply for an online course please APPLY HERE.

The online courses we currently offer are:
- Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect
- Safeguarding Children from Abuse by Sexual Exploitation
- eSafety
- Hidden Harm
- Think Safe, Be Safe, Stay Safe
- Child Accident Prevention
- Childhood Obesity and HENRY
- Common Core of Skills and Knowledge.
Please note - the Safeguarding Children Refresher course is no longer available.

Child Protection and Safeguarding (WSCB Multi-Agency Training Programme)WSCB face to face training courses are moving to a new website in early September.

Meanwhile, please note the following:
* All existing bookings on all WSCB courses have been transferred across to the new system.

* You will not be able to apply for a training course between now and week ending Friday 9 September, while we finalise the new booking system.

* Further detailed information about the new booking system will be available by week ending Friday 9 September.

All courses in September are now full.


Please also note that we have increased our charges for course attendance and late course cancellations / non attendances. The new charges are:
- Foundation Child Protection : £100 for non contributing agencies to attend.
- Advanced Child Protection : £200 (no change) for non contributing agencies to attend.
- Child Sexual Exploitation : £100 (no change) for non contributing agencies to attend.
- Conferences and Core Groups : £100 (no change) for non contributing agencies to attend.
- Domestic Abuse : Free to attend (no change).
- Early Help CAF in Practice : Free to attend (no change).
- Early Help and Safeguarding : £100 for non contributing agencies to attend.
- Neglect : £100 (no change) for non contributing agencies to attend.
- Safeguarding Children with Disabilities : Free to attend (no change).
- Safer Recruitment : £100 for non contributing agencies to attend.
- Safer Recruitment Refresher : Free to attend (no change).
- Sexualised Behaviour : Free to attend (no change).

The Cancellation charge will now be £75 for a one day course, £125 for a 2 day course and £50 for a half day course.
Public Health Training – Domestic Abuse

Applied Suicide Prevention Skills Training (ASIST) is an interactive and practical two day course that aims to help people to recognise the signs that someone is considering suicide; and gain the skills and confidence to respond appropriately and intervene to prevent immediate risk of suicide. Public Health Training - Sexual Health
Wiltshire’s Sexual Health Service for young people aged 13-24 years (No Worries!) offers a range of free training around sexual health and relationships to all those who work with young people to help them feel more confident about discussing these subjects. Health Services Training Courses:
Training courses are available for staff employed by statutory and/or voluntary organisations who work with Wiltshire children/young people with complex health care needs, including school nurses. These courses, run by Children and Young People’s Training, based at Chippenham Community Hospital, are free to attend and include inductions, clinical skills days, seizure management, anaphylaxis, respiratory and other subjects.
