Behaviour Change Behaviour change training aims to identify skills relevant to supporting people in helping themselves (in the context of lifestyle changes) in order to improve their health and well being. Children’s Trust Induction We invite all new workers and those who have moved roles to attend this session as an introduction to Wiltshire Children’s Trust and your role within it. This includes all those working with Wiltshire’s children and young people from Wiltshire Council or from partner agencies, such as health, schools, early years, police and the voluntary sector. Early Intervention Following the launch of the revised multi-agency threshold guidance training has been developed for staff and managers working with Wiltshire’s children and young people. The training is available at 3 levels. Click here to find out which level is right for you. To apply for Level 1 training log in and then click on ‘View courses & apply’ on the left hand main menu, follow the link to online training and then select Integrated Working: An introduction to Integrated Working (CAF). Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health This includes training on a number of topics within the emotional wellbeing and mental health agenda and is intended to support staff working with children and young people in Wiltshire. Person Centred This course is aimed at all, including family members, who support children and young people with a disability or Special Educational Need. It is an interactive course teaching person-centred thinking skills and how to use them to ensure children and young people are at the centre of all your work. Risky Behaviour These learning events are aimed at those working with children/adolescents (ages 10 and upwards) who are concerned about risky behaviours, enhancing awareness of them, early identification and specific engagement skills To apply follow the category link, login and follow the screen options. Safer Recruitment This training workshop is intended to provide a consistent, national minimum standard of good practice that organisations will adopt when recruiting and selecting people (including volunteers) to work with children.
