Description: This is a training package gives you access to over 30 courses for anyone who has contact with disabled children and young people.
KIDS is a charity which has pioneered a number of approaches and programmes for disabled children and young people.
This eLearning package contains various modules that can be used by everyone who has contact with disabled children and young people. It is currently being used by Short Break workers, volunteers, sessional staff, youth & children's workers and local authorities. The package is flexible enough to cover a range of different requirements − from those who need a simple introduction and overview through to those working with disabled children and young people on a daily basis.

Trainers: KIDS is a charity which, in its 40 years, has pioneered a number of approaches and programmes for disabled children and young people (Approved by Wiltshire Council Staff Development Team).
Cost: Free to Wiltshire Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB) members. Non-Wiltshire Safeguarding Children Board members will need to apply through www.safeguardingchildrenea.co.uk and will be charged. However, a discount of £5 can be obtained by using the code SCBWILT at the application stage.
Other Details: Once you have applied for this course, you will be registered within 5 working days. You will then be sent an email with your Username, Password and a link to the training.
